Nice to meet you!

I'm about to wrap up my Master's in Interaction Design and Electronic Arts in June 2024. I'm excited to bring my academic knowledge and creative skills into the real world.

In simple terms, my coursework has equipped me with strong skillsets in identifying problems and making digital products user-friendly, supported by principles like user research, prototyping, and usability testing. Additionally, my courses include subjects related to creative coding with the JavaScript library P5.js.

During my time at the University of Sydney, I worked on projects addressing challenges for industry clients such as Atlassian and Lake Macquarie City Council.

I base my design decisions on thorough research, testing, and iterative processes, consistently aiming for outcomes that prioritise user needs and behaviors.

Inclusivity

To date, I have spent approximately 54% of my life in Sydney and the remaining 46% in China. As a first-generation immigrant who arrived in Australia at a young age, I celebrate the richness of my identity, a journey marked by the challenges of battling language barriers and cultural differences.

Inclusive values are an integral part of my perspective. Having confronted these obstacles, I developed strong empathy and a profound respect for various cultures and demographics. This unique perspective not only enriches my personal experiences but also fuels my eagerness to understand and address people's needs and behaviors.
